KEVIN GILLESPIE ANNOUNCES OLE RELIABLE POP-UP RESTAURANT
AT GEORGIA-PACIFIC CENTER IN DOWNTOWN ATLANTA
Atlanta Restaurateur, Cookbook Author and Top Chef Alum Brings Breakfast and Lunch Amenities to Iconic Skyscraper
ATLANTA (May 17, 2019) – Red Beard Restaurants chef-owner Kevin Gillespie is excited to announce the early June opening of Ole Reliable, his pop-up restaurant that will serve coffee and tea, along with limited breakfast and lunch items at Georgia-Pacific Center. Old Reliable will replace Aramark in the 52-story office tower and will operate as a take-away dining spot that those who work in the downtown building can count on for a quick and satisfying meal with quality ingredients.
“I’m really excited about setting up shop downtown and providing the hard-working folks at Georgia- Pacific Center with a morning pick-me-up or a midday meal,” says Gillespie. “This is our first foray into coffee which I love and have been obsessed with for years. It’s also fun to have a chance to serve our guests during the day, as currently we only serve dinner at our restaurants.”
Ole Reliable will be open to the public, and guests can expect specialty coffee from local Atlanta coffee roaster Docent, plus Gillespie’s signature seasonally inspired fare in a to-go format for breakfast and lunch hours. Follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more information.
“We are delighted to partner with a chef like Kevin Gillespie. The Ole Reliable pop-up is a taste of things to come as Georgia-Pacific Center embarks on an innovative asset strategy that will enhance the tenant experience at this Atlanta landmark building,” said Suzanne Maynard, asset manager of Georgia-Pacific Center and Georgia-Pacific LLC.
Georgia-Pacific Center is located at 133 Peachtree Street. Constructed in 1982, the building offers tenants excellent on-site amenities and city walkability. Additionally, Georgia-Pacific Center holds LEED® Gold Certification, is a member of the City of Atlanta’s Better Buildings Challenge, and offers tenants many sustainability programs aimed at reducing waste and recycling.
