GET 40 CENT WINGS AT TACO MAC ON TACO MAC DAY, APRIL 4
Atlanta City Council to Issue Proclamation Honoring 40th Anniversary of Restaurant’s Original Virginia-Highland Location
ATLANTA (Mar. 29, 2019) – Taco Mac is turning 40 on Thursday, April 4, and Taco Mac and the City of Atlanta are teaming up to commemorate this milestone birthday. The Atlanta City Council is officially designating that day as Taco Mac Day, and all Taco Mac locations are offering 40 cent wings all day long in honor of the occasion.
“Our original Taco Mac location in Virginia-Highland first opened its doors to the public on April 4, 1979,” says Taco Mac CEO Harold Martin, Jr. “We’re thrilled beyond belief to have the Atlanta City Council honor us by declaring April 4 to be Taco Mac Day, and offering our signature wings at 40 cents is our way of saying thank you to the loyal customers who have kept us in business for 40 years. We wouldn’t be here today without them.”
Guests can choose from original, roasted or boneless wings, served in any wing increment listed on the regular menu: six, 10, 20, 30, or 50 wings, served with any of Taco Mac’s signature wing sauces or dry rubs: Slow Burn, Death Sauce, Three Mile Island, Habanero BBQ, Hot Buffalo, Medium Buffalo, Honey Chipotle, Mild Buffalo, Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ™, Sweet Chili Sesame, Parmesan Garlic, Original Lemon Pepper, Korean Black Garlic or Chili Mango. The 40-cent wing offer is valid for dine-in only and cannot be combined with any other offers.
The Atlanta City Council is slated to present a proclamation declaring April 4 to be Taco Mac Day at the original Virginia-Highland location at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, with special guests in attendance including CEO Harold Martin, Jr., Camp Twin Lakes president Jill Morrisey and team members from Taco Mac locations across the metro Atlanta area.
The 40th anniversary celebration continues later this month when Taco Mac hosts a reunion party at their Prado location from 5 – 10 p.m. on Monday, April 15. Guests are invited to join current and former Taco Mac employees and Brewniversity members for an all you can eat buffet, entertainment and a chance to win prizes in return for a $10 donation to Camp Twin Lakes.
