Midtown Hotspot Thanks the Community with Cocktail Party Featuring Prix Fixe and

À La Carte Menus, Live Music and Complimentary Drinks

ATLANTA (June 6, 2018) – On Thursday, June 21 from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., owner Ayman Kamel and his team are celebrating the second anniversary of Midtown restaurant 5Church Atlanta. To commemorate the occasion, they are featuring a four-course prix fixe menu and a limited à la carte menu with complimentary cocktails as well as entertainment from the Davin McCoy Duo and DJ Real. Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail attire for the occasion.

“We are so grateful to have been part of the thriving Atlanta community for the past two years and are thrilled to serve as a destination to our guests across the city,” says Kamel. “Our guests are like family, and we want to celebrate their patronage and thank them for their support.”

The anniversary event begins with seated dinner reservations from 5 to 10 p.m. Guests may choose from a prix fixe menu for $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity) or a limited à la carte menu.  The following are highlights of modern American favorites that executive chef Scotley Innis is preparing for the evening:

·        Herb-crusted lamb chops, braised oxtail sticky buns, charred oysters, New Orleans BBQ shrimp

·        Crab and watermelon salad, Pearson Farms grilled peaches with prosciutto and lemon thyme cottage cheese

·        Caribbean seafood paella, grilled salmon, 34-oz. tomahawk rib-eye with lobster baked potato, Jamaican jerk duck breast, half lobster with seafood stuffing

·        Lime-glazed bundt cake, banana pudding with peanut butter and caramel craquant

Complimentary Holy Water cocktails (Four Roses bourbon, sweet tea, lemon juice, blackberries, mint and blue agave) will be served to guests during the anniversary party with the purchase of food. DJ Real takes the stage at 9 p.m., and the festivities continue until 1 a.m. There will be a showcase from artist Collab5 in the upstairs private event space during the event, as well as a cigar rolling station on the spacious rooftop patio. Guests are encouraged to RSVP to sheila@5churchatlanta by June 14 so the restaurant can prepare accordingly.

“The future of Midtown Atlanta and Colony Square is bright,” adds Kamel. “We feel very fortunate to be part of the evolution of this neighborhood and the amazing culture within it.”
