Drift Lands New Executive Chef, Releases Updated Menu for Spring

Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar owner Doug Turbush is pleased to announce the hiring of Alex Bolduc as the restaurant’s new executive chef and the rollout of a spring menu update. Bolduc oversees culinary operations and plans to further refine the restaurant’s chef-crafted seafood dishes. His responsibilities also include conducting Drift’s commitment to the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch, a program he is very familiar with while working for one of the first restaurants to adopt the program in California. New spring menu highlights include oysters Bienville with bacon, shrimp, mushroom, green onion, lemon, Herbsaint and Drift hot sauce; wood-grilled salmon with English peas, spring Vidalia-fava bean pistou and mushroom brodo; and Maine scallops with field peas, grit custard, wood-fired cherry tomatoes and brown butter.
