Sadly, Atlanta ranks among the top cities in America for human trafficking, but Marlow’s Tavern is helping to put a stop to it by joining the Georgia Restaurant Association in raising awareness. Friday, Jan. 11 is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, and Marlow’s is hosting a fundraiser to benefit The Richmont Institute of Trauma and Recovery (RITR). RITR offers expert training to professionals working with trauma survivors as well as help for those who have been victims of this traumatization. Marlow’s will match all guest donations at the company’s 17 Georgia restaurants. Babalu, Johnny’s Hideaway, Gunshow, Murphy’s, Revival, Seed Kitchen & Bar, Stem Wine Bar and Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar are all joining in to support the cause as well.
