Slow Food Atlanta’s 12th Annual Ice Cream Social already has mouths watering with chefs from top Atlanta restaurants like American Cut, Livingston and Revival participating. On Saturday, Aug. 11, local farmers partner with chefs and ambitious amateurs to create unique and flavorful ice creams for attendees to taste. The fun starts at 1 p.m. at The Cathedral of St. Philip and benefits the Peachtree Road Farmers Market and Slow Food Atlanta’s work advocating for good, clean and fair food for all. Advance tickets are $20 for adults/$5 for children five and over (kids under 4 are free) and include an all-access pass to every flavor. Be ready to vote for your favorite and don’t forget to bring your own spoon.
