Arm yourself with $5 burgers and join in the beefiest battle in town during Atlanta Burger Week, April 23-29. Babalu Tapas & Tacos , HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern, Ormsby's and Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar join the fray of more than 40 Atlanta restaurants offering mighty meaty burgers for $5 each in this annual event sponsored by the Georgia Beef Board. During Atlanta Burger Week, $5 buys HOBNOB’s full-size Southerner burger (sides extra), bursting forth with fried green tomatoes, goat cheese, tomato horseradish relish, balsamic reduction and lettuce; available at both Midtown and Brookhaven locations. Salivate over another $5 steal, Babalu’s Aspen Ridge burger built with natural Angus beef, roasted Roma tomato, caramelized onions, white cheddar cheese, Hass avocado, smoked bacon and chipotle aioli on a sweet sourdough bun. Ormsby's weighs in with their Brat Burger, showcasing a house-made bratwurst patty with sauerkraut and stout mustard on a pretzel bun. Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar in Virginia-Highland is serving up a special Atkins Park Bayou Burger with a grass-fed beef patty, andouille sausage, pimento cheese, fried onions, arugula, spicy remoulade and fried shrimp.
