This Thanksgiving we are grateful for the simple pleasures in life, among them The Alden’s vichyssoise.  Chef Jared Hucks takes this classic chilled potato-leek soup and adds a modern twist with thin slices of fresh Burgundy truffle, pickled fennel and sourdough croutons. While not on the Chamblee restaurant’s special Thanksgiving eve dinner menu this week,  guests are invited to savor this mainstay on the dinner menu Tuesday-Saturday evenings.
